I haven’t put anything out in a while, so here’s a small one on the way. “My Blues” is a one-take acoustic demo – just a nylon guitar in a tuning I’ve been living in (CAFCFF) and a single live vocal, recorded and mixed at home. No band, no overdubs, no big production.
I wrote it to put a little hope out there for anyone going through it, myself included: “when you’re down and out, baby it’s your song.” I left it raw on purpose – some songs don’t need more than that.
